If you are like me and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate then this recipe is for you. Nutritious and delicious, this hot chocolate or “milk” shake is packed with goodness and without the added sugars, fillers, hormones and inflammatory properties we usually get from dairy.
High in copper, manganese, iron and magnesium, cocoa is your power drink for any occasion including before or after a workout.

Cacao is a great antioxidant, known to improve mood by raising serotonin levels, it can satisfy cravings and it is kid approved.
You can make it hot or cold, up to you.
- 1 cup warm almond milk, or any nut milk
- 1 tsp organic cocoa (sugar and filler free)
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- dash of Himalayan pink salt
- a few drops of real vanilla essence
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend, pour into a cup and enjoy.
